Vajra Productions LLP was started by Actor – Director duo, Shweta Shinde a Leading Actress and Sanjay Khambe a Sought after Director.
Shweta and Sanjay met on the set of a show “Lakshya” which was being Directed by Sanjay and Shweta was playing the Lead Cast.
Their Ideas and Inspiration to Create Quality Content were immediately identified by them and they decided to come together to form Vajra Productions LLP.
Soon Zee Marathi showed confidence in them and they Bagged their first show ‘Laghir Zhala Ji’
The Show was an Instant Hit !
Content Depth, Deep Research and Presentation of near to real theme flavours was the key to their success.
The Show rightly Won 13 Zee Awards and was much loved and appreciated by Channel and Viewers.
Brimming with Confidence Shweta and Sanjay continued to create TV shows for Zee Marathi and Star Pravah.
They Produced ‘Mrs Mukyamantri’ for Zee Marathi, ‘Sata Jalmyachya Gathi’ for Star Pravah, ‘Devmanus’ For Zee Marathi which is Currently on air.
They Have Also Produced a hit OTT content for MX Player called ‘A Missing Stone’ which is ranked in Top 5 most watched OTT content in Hindi.
Shweta, being an actress for more than 20 years has always been a very creative person and so she handles all the creative part of Production, be it story shortlisting, script development, pitching, creating story boards, content scouting, preparing mood boards, art, costumes, music etc
On the other hand
Sanjay, Being a full time director for almost 25 years has executed lot of projects, be it television or feature films, he has had first hand experience of all and working so closely with a lot of production houses he is well versed with day to day production needs. Being technically sound and having a lot of project experiences, empowers him to handle the actual on floor execution, pre and post production and has a skill for team development and in time and on budget execution.
The coming together of these two has been a hand in glove kind of arrangement which makes it quite exciting and easy to execute even the toughest parts of day to day production.
Honesty in subject to product, Creating families from cast n crew, product first everything else later, patience, perseverance, sound and tested methodologies, smart work is better than hard work, transparency and care for everyone are the mantras they work with.
Shweta belongs to Satara and Sanjay belongs to Sangli, Being that their roots are in Western Maharashtra they have executed lot of their projects in these areas and thus have created Infrastructure and Manpower to an extent that they are now the Favoured Producers for anything to be executed specially in these parts.
Their Efforts to create jobs for natives and to upgrade local persons skill set has been well observed and appreciated by everyone around, from a layman to influentials.
